I replaced my Saucony Hurricane 8's with these Nikes back in June. I've had no problem running in them. I don't know if I'll stick with Nike after I retire this pair. I'm thinking of heading back to Saucony for my next pair of shoes. I definetly like the Nike+ pocket for my Nike+...

I have lots of words of wisdom and lots of experience on lots of subjects...just none with Brooks shoes; so I am of no use. However, I bet no matter what kind of shoe you get you'll still be the the most consistent runner on the site once you get the ok to run again.

New Kicks

On our way back from the wedding we stopped in Michigan City, IN. at the outlet mall. At the discount shoe place I grabbed a nice size 10.5 of these babys, Saucony Grid Fusions. Im happy with discount price of 52 dollars that I got them for and tonight the two miles I ran on them felt great!

Nike + iPod Sport Kit vs. Garmin Forerunner 301

My wife gave me the Nike + iPod Sport Kit and new pair of Nike Triax 10, to replace my ready to retire Saucony Hurricane 8, for my birthday. I quickly broke in my new running shoes with a run on one of my running routes. I used the to opportunity to compare how well the Nike + tracked my run in comparison...

Insoles for shoes?

Does anyone reccomend insoles for running shoes ? Im thinking I need some but wouldnt have a clue on where to start looking or what brand?

What kind of kicks ?

Im not so happy with my current running shoes. They constantly make my heels hurt. I guess it's what I get for not spending more than 50 bucks on them at the Shoe Carnival. So Im curious what kind of shoes does everyone use for running ? Mine are currently New Balance 550s.
