Concentrated on keeping my legs underneath me. I have a tendency to heel-break, and over striding can cause pain with my OC Jewelry. The nice thing was, by concentrating on doing this I was able to utlilize slightly different muscles than I normally do when I'm pushing the pace. I found a different gear of sorts. The run was pain free, I'm getting in better shape.

Limits. I felt absolutely fantastic for the first two miles of tonights run. I felt good enough that mid run I probably could have convinced myself that I was only a couple weeks away from feeling like I could float again... at least for a couple miles at a time. That all came crashing down in the last mile. With a half to go I was so cramped up that I basically crawled in and ruined what could have been a great time. At least my legs felt good. If I had waited to start the run I wouldn't have worn nearly as many clothes; I was roasting by the time I finished. Roads weren't perfect, but they were the best they've been in a long time. I'm really hoping the weather doesn't take a shit on us again.
