Finished my h/m with 1:33:36, I took 3 minutes off my previous PR! No running tomorrow, maybe a few easy miles on Sunday.

Good group! I am training for the Twin Cities marathon on October 5th. If I survive I'll do a half marathon at the end of October, and then the Disney marathon in January. I'll be topping out around 40 miles a week. Good luck to everyone with their plans and races!

Good run, Beth!

Seems everyone is injured or coming off of an injury! I tweaked my left calf muscle this past weekend, so I'm being careful with it, which boils down to running at a slower/easier pace than usual. Hopefully it will recover while I'm still logging miles, otherwise I'll have to take a few days off.

Nice group! This gives me more motivation to get back into it. My knees are finally feeling better.

I'm coming off an injury to my knee after my last marathon, which was a full beach marathon. 26.2 miles on sand took a toll on my left knee. I started logging miles again in August after taking a small break in July. I've got a half coming up on Friday and I've been traveling for the past two weeks thanks to work so my mileage hasn't been as much as I had expected for August.

Just trying to get my mileage up in preparation for a couple of marathons. I have a marathon in mid October and another in late November. I'm hoping that by getting up to 70 - 80 miles a week with the long run being 20 - 24 miles I should be able to run them as "easily" as one can run a marathon. :)

I sent the last response but didn't add my username.

I am on a 40-45 mile per month program. 8 tuesday, 5 Wednesday, speeedwork thursday (roughly 8), 5 on Saturday and 14 to 20 on Sunday. My mileage for August was down from July since I ran a couple of races and cut a couple of workouts to allow my legs to be fresher. I have the Dublin half on my calendar for September and the Richmond marathon in November so the weekly levels should remain between 40 and 50. What's your story?
