Good job increasing your mileage. Keep up the good work.
Posted by TaoRunner on 3/7/2010 5:10 PM
Nice job Brian. BTW, I ran the extra .1 mile today just so I could be ahead of you in total mileage :-)
Posted by TaoRunner on 3/2/2010 7:18 PM
Pump and run!
Posted by TaoRunner on 2/25/2010 11:52 AM
Go Brian Go.
Posted by TaoRunner on 2/13/2010 4:51 PM
Good to see you on the board for February. River Bank here we come!
Posted by TaoRunner on 2/4/2010 3:58 PM
Way to go Brian. I got my Riverbank application in the mail yesterday. See you there.
Posted by TaoRunner on 1/16/2010 2:40 PM
the girls got me one of those inversion tables for my back. It is a miracle. My back feels better than it did after going to the chiropractor.
Posted by dan on 12/27/2009 9:51 PM
Good to see you using your day off wisely!
Posted by taorunner on 12/24/2009 11:08 AM
Nice pace Brian. Keep up the good work. I think it's time to start running further ;-)
Posted by Taorunner on 9/12/2009 3:18 PM
Somebody has been running quite a bit. Getting ready for something I too should be preparing for? Thinking about the Detroit 1/2. You interested?
Posted by nelso on 8/25/2009 7:21 PM
3.979 miles? You couldn't manage to take the five extra steps required to make it an even 4 miles? You tech nerds sure are precise!
Posted by Taorunner on 8/18/2009 12:52 PM
Time to start extending the distance a little bit at a time. Good work.
Posted by Taorunner on 8/15/2009 1:31 PM
Hey Brian! I found this site through your Facebook page. I have tried several methods and other websites to track my workouts over the past year and this one seems to be a good fit for me. Nice work... and good to hear from you again!
Posted by clambers on 7/22/2009 9:17 AM
One of July's top runner by pace. I'm impressed. Have you been typing in the data correctly? :-)
Posted by Taorunner on 7/8/2009 2:51 PM
there's a spammer working the pages, not sure if it was just me or if more people had "george" leave a comment.
Posted by danmanning2007 on 6/18/2009 6:29 AM
Brian! I'm so sorry I ignored a bunch of your messages. I took quite the two-year hiatus from running. I've been back in the flow for the last month and just took 3rd place in a local on-campus Syracuse race. I forgot how awesome your site is at keeping track of my distances and paces. -Tony
Posted by toeknee8 on 6/14/2009 9:18 PM
where's my facebook and ipod app? :P
Posted by danmanning2007 on 6/9/2009 5:59 PM
Looks like you're coming along. Does the knee still feel okay?
Posted by Taorunner on 5/12/2009 11:21 AM
glad to see you running, keep it up!
Posted by tommym on 5/7/2009 12:55 AM
I call bullsh*t on "amberh333". Unless, of course, she's a Kenyan elite runner... but I've never heard of her before. Interesting.
Posted by nearperfect9 on 3/12/2009 8:44 PM
Did you remember to change your age on your profile?
Posted by Taorunner on 1/13/2009 6:23 PM
Thanks for the welcome back. Going to get serious about losing some of this Holiday softness and figured it'd be good to start making myself accountable publicly again.
Posted by buistc on 1/6/2009 5:48 AM
feeling pretty good, lower back is really sore. Walking around like an old man today, could barely walk yesterday.
Posted by danmanning2007 on 10/20/2008 1:32 PM
this is a test only a test
Posted by mcbeev on 9/17/2008 5:04 PM
thank you for your kind words. My pace was fast due to being peeved about one of my customers. Plus, a dog scared me.
Posted by danmanning2007 on 6/26/2008 6:22 AM
Nice run buddy!
Posted by tommym on 6/11/2008 11:09 PM
Hey, don't hate my pace. It was uphill both ways. And the wind was against me the whole time.... it shifted half way through.
Posted by cory on 5/12/2008 8:38 AM
Congratulations on a good run. How were you're splits? Did you fade at the end or stay strong? Nice job!
Posted by Taorunner on 5/11/2008 7:10 PM
Way to go on the 25K!! Im so proud of you, good for you for sticking to the plan:)
Posted by mrsmcbeev on 5/10/2008 2:06 PM
Thanks for the note on my 20 miler. I'm training for my first marathon and that was my last 20 miler before the race.
Posted by bethk on 4/25/2008 12:21 PM
Do you run marathons? If so, there is a charity one in Hawaii soon and I am trying to get lots of people to go
Posted by amberh333 on 3/9/2008 7:24 PM
From mcbeev: "Welcome back, where in the world are you these days?" I was in Tbilisi, Georgia back in December and managed to squeeze in a run. Spent the holidays in Denmark visiting the in-laws. I´ll be in Germany in a coupe of weeks and Amsterdam in February. Can´t wait to run in Amsterdam, I´ll be able to add another country to my list of "I´ve run there".
Posted by laurel2k on 1/8/2008 12:19 PM
I'm BARELY getting back in it. Treadmills suck, but sub-zero air in lungs sucks worse.
Posted by danmanning2007 on 12/10/2007 7:37 AM
My right leg has been bothering me, so I'm letting it rest a week. right in the hip joint. Might have over-done it. So that's why no runs this week. dan
Posted by danmanning2007 on 10/19/2007 9:58 PM
Yup, black eye, it hurts. Ah well, whenever I think about how bad it looks, I remember what I did to my opponent. :*)
Posted by nearperfect9 on 10/9/2007 10:28 PM
Nice job on the half marathon McBeev - we are all proud of you:) (Mommy, Maggie, and Audrey)

Posted by BuistC on 8/11/2007 3:04 PM
Hey buddy... YOu getting ready for that half marathon in Chicago coming up in September?? There is another one here in Lansing later on that month if you can't make Chicago! I would like to run them both. But after how shitty I felt after running an hour today I had better get to training!!!
Posted by nelso on 8/9/2007 6:08 PM
i haven't been to the gym because of the arm injury so i've just been lazy no running nothing but i have to start training again for the sept. 8 tri, so after i get back from vacation i'll be back
Posted by michael_Schmidt on 7/26/2007 1:58 PM
Knee pain slowed me down a little bit, but it was laziness that stopped me. :) I'll be back on the track tonight though.
Posted by BuistC on 7/24/2007 4:37 PM
Hey! We are neck and neck for distance this month...just surpassed you this morning...you are killing me in times though! lol. Great site...keeps me running every day. ;)
Posted by marym7220 on 7/19/2007 9:29 AM
It looks like you're keeping in the running groove. Good job and keep it up!
Posted by Taorunner on 7/7/2007 2:18 PM
McBeev- I know it's an excuse, but my running shoes are being repaired (remade) because of some toe-jamming and blistering that I got from the Rbank Run. I know I could run in some other shoes, but I'm just too lazy. I'll get back in soon. I want to whoop Nikkus at some 5k-s. -Tony
Posted by toeknee8 on 7/1/2007 2:29 PM
woohoo over 400 miles for the year! Nice work Mcbeev:)
Posted by mrsmcbeev on 6/11/2007 8:05 AM
Thanks for the heads up on the Top / Distances category. I lose the ankle weight on June 13, and after that intend to try and fill just as many weekends as I can finding road races. It won't take me long to find a good 5k to kill myself on.
Posted by BuistC on 6/6/2007 12:12 PM
MIGHT want to get a helmet?? you know my opinion on that one:)
Posted by mrsmcbeev on 5/22/2007 8:09 AM
Unfortunately, I'm out. I'd love to go on the trip, but it's going to be just a little too early for me. Still awfully busy at work that week. If something pops up later in the summer though, a second trip or something - I'm definitely in.
Posted by on 5/16/2007 11:36 PM
It's not too fun running without an iPod.
Posted by mcbeev on 5/16/2007 11:20 PM
Congratulations on an outstanding run. Even more importantly congratulations on months of consistent hard training. How are you feeling today?
Posted by Taorunner on 5/13/2007 9:01 AM
Congrats on finishing the 25k! Good job, Maggie and I were proud:) Way to stick with it.
Posted by mrsmcbeev on 5/12/2007 3:12 PM
Not another marathon this weekend but a 50 mile trail ultra in Wisconsin. It looks like you'll have good weather for the River Bank Run. We're expecting rain on the other side of the lake. Good luck Saturday.
Posted by TaoRunner on 5/10/2007 10:58 AM
Congratulations on a 100+ mile month! You have time for a couple more long runs before the River Bank. Good luck!
Posted by Taorunner on 4/26/2007 2:03 PM
I was proud of you too during the pump and run:) Way to go timewise - I knew you could do it.
Posted by mrsmcbeev on 4/15/2007 7:43 PM
Nice 11 miler for you too!
Posted by toeknee8 on 4/10/2007 1:31 AM
good job on the 10 mile run - way to stay focused on the treadmill! 15.5 outside will be a piece of cake....:)
Posted by mrsmcbeev on 4/3/2007 9:07 AM
Bri - It looks like our paces are pretty similar. I might have to set my sights on you if Nick's already backin' down. Pappy is either downright lazy or helplessly technophobic. Keep up the runs. -Tony
Posted by toeknee8 on 3/28/2007 10:06 PM
Nice race Bri - I enjoyed running with you and Im posiitive next time you'll kick my a@#. Just like old times:)
Posted by mrsmcbeev on 3/24/2007 1:23 PM
You should come to Iraq and run. With bombs hitting around it helps decrease your run time a little bit. :) Adrenalin RULES!!
Posted by Tresh on 3/24/2007 8:17 AM
Sure MSmith. Ill post some in the WD forums in the Help Forum.
Posted by mcbeev on 3/22/2007 9:59 PM
OK, this is a techy question. I am trying to use ZedGraphs in my .net 2.0 app and I cannot get the thing to work. I dropped both DLL's in a folder and the created a reference to them. Then I tried to use using ZedGraph; at the top of the page but it would not compile. Said the reference could not be found. Could you provide quick code snippets of how you got it to work?
Posted by MSmith on 3/22/2007 2:35 PM
McBeev - This is a great site. I was trying to figure out how to send you a message when I saw that you left me one. I wanted to ask you a few questions: 1) What is the CMT* column for? 2) How do you fill out your "power song"? 3a) I live on Lk Mich Dr close to downtown GVSU, do you still live up on the NW side? 3b) If so, do you want to run sometime on the weekends?
Posted by toeknee8 on 3/13/2007 11:45 PM
Very consistent running. Keep up the great work. The fall the other day was uneventful. Thanks for asking.
Posted by TaoRunner on 3/13/2007 5:53 PM
Nice pace Brian, we will need to run one of these days together.
Posted by Zach.nordhof on 3/5/2007 1:23 PM
I like the new week-month breakdown for workouts. This site is chock full o' awesomeness.
Posted by danmanning2007 on 3/2/2007 12:16 AM
Ha we could do that.
Posted by mcbeev on 2/27/2007 1:39 PM
Hi Brian, Looks like you're losing too much weight. I'll have to get you down to the Hideout for some important carbo-training.
Posted by danmanning2007 on 2/27/2007 9:43 AM
Several days ago you asked about my long treadmill run and it's taken me this long to read your comment! Yes it drives me crazy but it's better then running through ankle deep snow. I broke up the run with trips up and down the stairs every half hour and I watched Last of the Mohican's and 13th Warrior back to back. Thanks for asking.
Posted by taorunner on 2/22/2007 9:24 PM
thank you sir
Posted by mcbeev on 2/19/2007 10:45 PM
